Going Up:

I was introduced to the work of French photographer Laurent Chehere through the blog Honestly…WTF. I just love his series called ‘Flying Houses‘, where he manipulates his photographs by placing ordinary homes and buildings high into the sky. Inspired by the forgotten architecture of the Belleville and Menilmontant neighborhoods in Paris, he manages to draw the eye to quirky details otherwise missed.

All images are from the Paris-Beijing Photogallery where this work is on show until 5th Dec.
