You know, there is nothing better (or worse) than Pinterest. Everyday I have to go on a have a browse at what other people are pinning – yes, my name is Anna and I’m an addict! This fun little tool allows me to source some amazing material for my blog and well as pic up inspiration for my jewels.
Today’s post is due to an image I found via Pinterest and wow did it make my happy! If you know me, you’ll know I have a weakness for Japanese art (check out my Japanese inspired jewels here) and I also have a bonsai. But mine doesn’t compare to these beauties:
Takanori Aiba started off as a traditional textile designer then went on to illustrating mazes and then went on to become a concept maker and designer for architectural spaces. With this diverse background he now designs these sculptures out of ceramic, wood, plastic, resin and other mixed media. Here are some of his other works:
