Sjoe, what a couple of weeks it has been. Finally the Design Indaba Expo is over and I can (kind of) breathe again. I just want to thank everyone who made it there – was so nice to see some friendly faces in the crowds. And I’d also like to say, it was a HUGE success – some good things are a-happening, so watch this space.
So, we all know I have a soft spot for cut out and layered pictures (see my attempts here), but these little pictures done by artist Rodrigo Torres are something a little different. Taking bank notes from around the world, he creates new scenes reminiscent of pop up books:
